Woodstork On My Head

Well, I was in the right place at the right time for this photo. Woodstorks are rather clumsy when they land and it often appears as if they have no control. This one almost landed on my head instead of the path in front of me.

I always feel centered when immersed in nature and being close to Woodstorks is an emotional charge and one of my favorite subjects of photography. For all of you who would like the opportunity, they can be found near the Reddington Shores area in Pinellas County.
